My first year with growing soybeans, and I have been told that they dry down fast. It has been very rainy here in Michigan for the past two weeks, so moisture levels in my beans have jumped and most all harvest except high moisture corn has stopped. We have had three days of dry weather and tomorrow is supposed to be sunny again as was today. I checked my beans today and tried running some, 14.5 moisture, needless to say I stopped. Will, or could they possibly dry down to 13 by tomorrow or Tuesday so I can run them before the next rains later in the week? That might sound silly, but are my hopes of getting them in before the rain all for nothing?
