The average American kid attends school for how long every year? say 35 hours per week for 37 weeks per year, thats 1295 hours minimum per year they are available to be spoon fed whatever dumbed down, historically inaccurate claptrap passes for public school curriculum these days. If a person knows how to read and write and puts it into practice and becomes a proficient reader who can understand things for themselves then that person does not gain much from prolonged association with the average public school program.
