I also have a 3 year old speed queen. 10 year warranty on the gearbox and tub. No fancy readouts, very little electronics, made in wisconsin i think. Also bought the matching dryer this fall. Old washer was a maytag front loader. Every one of those has a bearing go out around 3-5 years. Maytag only sells the entire drum for something like 300 bucks. Local implement dealer sized the bearing, and has a guy fix for 100 bucks, probably 30 bucks if you can do the work yourself.
