Pretty typical install. 1/2" Hardee board the lower 5'. 1/2" Green sheetrock above. This one was actually rather low cost. $2/sf tile. I leaned on them pretty hard to add a little color/testure so she found a similar inset in a magazine and we added them and the shelves. If you don't add a little something you end up with a monolithic looking tile job like in a hospital bathroom. I finished this job today. They were happy. Well, at least they paid me :)
