: : : Nathan, I have had that problem with lawnmowers. I would check to make sure the gas cap is vented. If not a gravity feed system will not flow fuel. I'm assuming that the tractor restarts and you are not cleaning the sediment bowl between restarts. Sounds like you should give the tank a good flushing also. Good luck, Mark : : Mark R alluded to a problem that I recently had with my Super C. It would run for a while sometimes most of the day and then quit like someone shut off the switch. I tried numerous remedies until one time when I was standing right beside the gas tank when the engine shut off. I heard gurgling in the tank and took off the cap to investigate and heard more air leak past the gasket. I inspected the venting on the cap and discovered that the accumulation of gasoline varnish, ect. had plugged the vent holes in the cap. A thurough cleaning and no more tractor stalling. Something new learned purely by accident and obversation. Sometimes we are lucky. : : : : : I use my cub tractor to mow with a woods belly mower. It starts well and runs well not missing a beat. On the average after running approximately 15-25 min it stops. I start it once again and off it goes running well. this may occur 3-5 times before I finish mowing. : : : : : I have cleaned the trash and debris out of the gas bowl numerous times. I use a high octane gas when running the tractor. I cleaned the carberator including a small filter where the gas enter the carberator. : : : : : Does anybody have any suggestions that may help? Thanks : : : : You are getting a vapor lock in your fuel system or your coil is : : : : getting to hot. Try a new coil....... : I think Clint H. has the best "solution". A Farmall 100 this spring and it would run 10/15 minutes and stop. He checked the gas--had some--and it started up and ran, only to do the same thing again. Solution:paint in the vent opening of the gas cap!!! Check it out, it could be an easy fix. Part of my mess'g above got lost-- A neighbor finished a clean-up/paint-up on his Farmall 100 this Spring, and that's when the run 10 min. and die started. Nice new paint in the gas cap vent. Luckily he thought of it before he started tearing the 100 apart. I learned (the hard way) when something stops working, check the last thing I "fixed".
