Where does it plug in though? That's the problem. The only thing there is to my brakes is a pedal,a master cylinder and a switch for the brake lights. The controller I have now has a wet line from the master cylinder to activate it. Apparently they don't make them anymore.
Does it work off the brake light switch? Wouldn't you need a heavier fuse if that's the case? I don't know that I want the trailer brakes coming on by just touching the pedal before I apply enough pressure to the pedal for the truck brakes to start working.
