I repowered a Versatile 125, that was an early articulated 4WD with a 391 Ford gas engine in it.
I found a deal on a Detriot diesel 6-71 engine that I fitted to the versatile. Because the engine bay was designed for a short V8, I had to lenthen the hood and frame about 10 inches to make it fit. That made a good tractor out of it after I added duals to absorb the extra hoursepower and upgraded the top shaft bearings in the transmission.
