As for the bean yields. They are going to be all over the board. It all depends on if you got any rain in Aug/Sept. Good friend has a 100 acres field south of Dewitt. It is a mile long. He watched it rain hard at the south end and dry at the north end right around Labor Day. South end the beans made 50-55 BPA. The North end they made 40-45 BPA. Just that one rain was the difference.
There are a few soybeans being cut around here but not many. West around Cedar Rapids there are guys going full bore at harvest.
