Turn head lights then hit starter if they dim or stay bright the problem is in starter circuit if hey go out out the you arenot getting the amperage from the batteries. Take a sharp knife and really clean the terminals down to frees metal. If you hear a crunching sound then that is the problem build up of hard corrosion that the wire brush won't clean out. Walt
