We have a 1466 that is hard to steer. I can change the filter, top the hydraulic oil off and it will steer fine for a few days then you nearly have to start lifting weights just to turn it. But the filter doesn't look that bad when I replace it, i.e. no trash or debris in the filter. The cylinder works fine, as does the 3pt hitch... it's just the steering. Any ideas or suggestions as to how to fix this before I start pulling pumps off and rebuilding?
