would guess the Ford hoe is the same as a Case and on the Case they have different PSI settings depending on what job the cylinder does, example would be a boom cylinder may have 3000 psi where a stabilizer has 2000psi by reversing these two you will greatly reduce the working capacity of the hoe its yours do what you like this is just my advise cnt
