we sold thousands of Case backhoes from early sixties to 76 and when they changed the tower controls at the 580B introduction we had a customer try just switching hose to put it like the 580CK and almost each valve spool had its own psi setting and it did not work at all we ended up pulling the valve stack and putting the spool into the positions like the CK units was then it worked fine as to the backhoe having the same psi as the loader I have never worked on or sold a 480E but I am betting they are exactly the same as a 580 series and you are referring to "main relief pressure" not individual control pressures
