Most additives, including used motor oil and marvel mystery oil, were proven to be nothing but snake oil, and most of what was tested proved to be bad for the system.
When I started using 2-stroke in my 90 Cummins I didn"t notice any change in fuel mileage, but it started to run quieter, and it started to put a little smoke out the pipe again on winter blend.
