Thanks for the info, I figured that was how it should be working. The tractor currently has 9000 hrs on the meter but body is good, no leaks and engine is sound, no loud knocks, some black smoke on start up and while throttle up while first starting out from a stop. It does have a sound comming from the rear end area like a muted clunking, not very noticeable but there, is this common?
