How did the corn and beans make out during the recent, and maybe still continuing, heat wave? Somewhere I heard reports of crop damage. I hope you don't have the situation I have in the garden. We have had a historic amount of rain. I mention earlier about some small grain not being able to be harvested because of wheat seen sprouting in the head. I was gathering some dry, well ripe anyway, field corn from the garden to grind into meal and some of it had sprouted in the ear. Sure hope you serious farmers don't have that problem.
