We had a phone turned in at a local high school football game last year. My wife and I were taking ticket money at the front gate so we figured someone would come looking for a lost phone. After halftime nobody showed so I started trying to look in the memory for any clues. Wasn't much there so I started calling numbers saved. After getting no answer to several, a nice older lady answered. I explained who I was and why I had the phone. Well, that eventually worked, but she in turn called the law and told them there had to be some kind of scam going on. A little while passed and here comes a deputy asking questions. We had a good chuckle over it but still had not found the one who lost the phone. Just as the game ended a young couple showed up looking for the female's phone. I had called her aunt, several states away and she thought I was some kind of kidnapper or something.
