I use Stihl bar oil in all my saws ( Stihl,Husky,Echo and Remington). I just bought a gallon for $12.00. I won't use anything but bar oil.Motor oils are to thin and you run out of bar oil before you run out of gas.I have no trouble with the saws pumping bar oil in winter. I have tried Stihls winter bar oil and don't like it because its to thin and the saw runs out bar oil before gas.
