In our 3020 I've had reasonably good luck with Champion D21 and Autolite 386 . Both however tend to foul over time - especially when operated long for periods lightly loaded. I suspect hotter plugs (D23 or 388) would do better, but they seem to be hard to find.
A couple things I've found help reduce plug fouling: 1 - Set the carburetor idle mixture as lean as possible (not always easy to to with the stock MS carburetor....) And set the power screw as lean as is consistent with your power needs. Any black in the exhaust means it's gonna soon foul the plugs. 2 - Minimize idle time. If it's gonna idle more than a minute or two, shut it down!
