I agree the news has become a haven for white trash sensationalism. I do not watch the news anymore. I get my info from the yahoo site, and I can pick what is important. What really pizzes me off is that there is REAL news to report, such as-- world affairs, local municipalites running bankrupt, schools that are managed like total schitt and on it goes. But, the dumbing down of the middle class is more important to the local news stations.
