I just did a search on white gas to make sure I was right.Wikipedia says white gas is a generic name for camp fuel. When I bought Coleman fuel for 5 bucks a gallon Walmart started selling a fuel called Ozark Trail for 3.50 a gallon.I still have a can left.I did repair work on Coleman lanterns and stoves for many years.I was using Coleman lanterns and stoves in the 50s.It was called white gas then and most gas stations had a barrel of white gas and kerosene so you could buy a few gallons. If you look up the msds sheets on coleman fuel you will see it contains naphtha.I spell the word wrong at times.I have Coleman parts in the shop now although Im retired at 75.My hearts bad and my eye sight sight is getting worse.I will remind all of you that coleman fuel puts out carbon monoxide when burning and should only be used out doors.
