Guys--Don't take comments to heart. Life is way to short to get high blood pressure over someones opinion. I kind of figure most additives work like washing your car does. It makes me feel like it runs better after I wash it. As far as additives go
I know they sell millions of dollars worth of them yearly. I have tested hundreds of additives in the laboratory and very few do what they say they will. Sea Foam sure makes the engine put out a bunch of smoke. But never having torn an engine down after such a treatment, I can't really say whether it cleans internal parts up or not. It sure as heck does smoke a lot. Maybe that is becasue it is burning engine carbon deposits or maybe it is just the heavy naptha and mineral oil burning from the Sea Foam. My $.02 worth.
