This guy put Seafoam in his tractor and it ran better. Without spending millions of $$$ on research and still coming up inconclusive, that's about as good as you're going to get as to whether a product is any good or not.
I've had good experiences with Seafoam myself. No amount of working, fresh gas, etc. was stopping my H from smoking. Put half a can of Seafoam up the intake, and it hasn't smoked a lick since.
