Some times you live near the river, sometimes the river is near to you! Stay safe, move out if you have to. We know about flooding here in Ireland. I have 60 acres which is under water every winter. But more people drown in the summer time, when it gets hot.....they go looking for water. Many streets in Belfast will flood during heavy rain, but then a pizza box is the same size as a road gully!....when they learn how to dispose of their litter the streets will not flood as often!
