Hi, years ago we had the opposite problem. We had a Ford 8N then traded for JD420 so had to use a 13/8 to 11/8 adapter on the Ferguson rake for many years. Had no problems other than it extended the PTO shaft by a couple inches and you had to may sure with 3pt implements that the PTO shaft had sufficient clearance.
