Glad you didn't end up in a tank slapper and off the bridge. I hate it when tires blow on the road. Newer tires really don't hold up to highway speeds like the old ones do, when they get old. It's cost cutting everywhere... We have gotten ourselves into a situation where a tire costs as much as a mortgage payment, and lasts about as long(about 30 days, or until your next mortgage payment).
