35 years ago when I worked for the county road dept. I tried to buy an old Dodge Brothers 8 yard dump truck they had in the bone-yard. It had the old flathead 6 engine & heavy-spoke wheels. I wanted to fully restore it and put it back into service, but they wouldn't sell it. I saw it a couple of years ago and they put it in an open-air "museum"? and are just letting it rust away. Real shame, it was completely intact when I wanted to get it, now it's missing all kinds of parts.
