My watch has a cloth type band (velcro). It does not come off of the watch easily. A couple of days ago wile working on the tractor I managed to get my watch band wet with gas. Have tried hand washing the band with soap and water, also have placed the watch in a closed zip lock bag with baking soda, making sure the watch as covered. Still have the gas smell. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the smell, the wife is ready to throw the watch out. She hates the smell of gasoline. Thanks, Bill
