I recently acquired a one row planter for my cub. I have been reading the manual online and have a couple of questions. What gear arrangement do I need to use to plant sweet corn? I have a 13 tooth drive gear on the rear of the tractor. I also need advice on what international planter plates to get. Do I need a 16 cell plate or a 24 cell plate?
I also need help with the sidedresser settings. I have been using it to side dress the corn but am not sure if I am applying the correct rate. The lever adjustment is froze up and I am working on it now. What gears do I need to use from the counter shaft to the fertilizer drive and what setting should the gate be at?
I appreciate all the help. I have been reading the manual but just thought you all might have more insight on what settings to use.
