I make it a point to kiss my wife goodbye every morning and say "I love you" even when its 5am. She used to get upset about it saying it messed up her sleep, until one day I came home to tell her about a friend who had a 4160 volt switchgear blow up in his face and how we had to put him out as even his leather boots were on fire. Now she smiles a sleepy smile and says "love you too". Never know which day will be our last. Glad to hear your wife is okay! Sounds like the Good Lord was smiling on her.
