I like the classic view because everything is in order. Personally I don't want to look on here and see someone else chiming in and answering a week old question that had already been answered a dozen times on the day it was origionally posted.
Too, say someone placed a post today with a question. In Classic view it may take it a day or two (depending on the forum)to put it a page or so back, which is well within the page count most will look at. With the Modern view if it didn't get answered the first day it liable to be three, or four, or more pages back in the same time period. In other words if the guy that has the answer doesn't see it the first day he may never see it on the second day when he gets on here because it's too far back for him to think about looking. The only bonus is that if you asked the question a week ago, and didn't get a good answer, IF somone happens to see it and respond it will be put to the head of the pack for you to easily see.
Personally I tried the modern and the classic and like another post said, if modern was the only choice I probably wouldn't spend as much time on here as I do right now.
