Guys, The "Too Much Rain" Complainers I just don't have much time for. Here in Texas we are STILL in a DROUGHT! about 5 yrs now. the little drought that the Mid-West went through last yr is just a small speed bump to us down here, we do those with our eyes closed on sunday afternoon, We don't even phone home and tell the Folks on drought that short! Not piking on Midwest just an observation. Got 2.5 inches a month ago that is the most rain we have seen at one time in over 2 yrs. Yes we are green but it is only 2 inches deep in the soil that 2.5 is now long since gone and pastures are drying out Fast like a Freight Train running down hill and picking up speed. Area Lakes are at Record Lows. We need General Rains here to the point we think we need to start building an Ark! OBTW... Got .95 of Rain yesterday, I wasn't home to see it but the ground was nice and wet and my rain Gauge showed the evidence. Nice to get!! Later, John A.
