Had another 2.5 inches last night. That makes 10 inches in a week. Soybeans are drowning and I can't get near the garden to dig my potatoes. The Corp of Engineers was going to run a scheduled test of the flood gates on Hartwell Lake tomorrow, but had to open them a day early as the lake is above food stage and rising. It is a big lake with a thousand miles of shoreline. It is approaching a record stage set back in 1964. More rain in the forecast every day for the next 10 days. Richard in VERY SOGGY NW SC
