My nephew and I decided to run some tractors in the Independence Day parade this past Saturday. Now we ain't fancy enough to have a trailer, so I just wired some SMV triangles on the back of the 9N and Farmall H and we drove to town. Sam was on the 9N and I followed him on my H so I wouldn't run off and leave him.
Somewhere south of town, I caught a glimpse of a silver car right behind me. A quick glance over my shoulder revealed there was a few cars behind the first one. Well, we were over as far as possible and there was a center turn lane in case anyone was really in a hurry, yet no one passed us.
We finaly made it to the middle of town. We needed to go straight ahead, but that silver car right behind me turned left towards Barnett. We were lucky enough to get a green light, but as that silver car pulled up even, I couldn't help but notice the big Missouri State Highway Patrol emblem on his door.
To the MSHP, I say thank you. To any drivers caught up in the traffic jam that might have gotten a little hot under the collar, I say move back to the city.
