For years I"ve chaired the local Knights of Columbus breakfasts, along with two others in their parishes. Sparboe Farms, fifth largest egg producer in the US, donates eggs to us, and we pass extras to the next parish, with the last one donating leftovers to the food shelf. These eggs are refrigerated before and during our possession, and we"re told that they are good for 5 weeks. We haven"t killed anyone yet.
