I 've heard they have a seal coating on them when the hen Hatches them , if you don't wash them they will keep out of the fridge. How long , don't know. The guy on the boat said those were seal in wax. The chicken farm down the road washes them and keeps them at 50 degrees in his cooler, but he sell to a major food store. I would stay on the safe side and keep them in the fridge.
