i have 2 deere mowers that i am happy with. an l-110 automatic, 17.5 hp kohler 42 in deck and a gt 245. 20 hp kawi,54 in deck. the d-120 (new) will set you back about 1800 dollars. 21hp, 42 in deck. my 110 has had a rough life and still going. buy it from a jd dealer, not home depot. same price, but deere sets the mower all up for you. they have excellent parts support too. parts are not as expensive compared to my cub cadet. btw, my sheds are pretty much full of red tractors.
