Well the electric motor on my hay elevator was starting to give me trouble blowing the breaker , well just finished filling my loft and it started smoking , not good took it off and took to a electric repair shop they said it is unrepairable.
It was a Wagner Electric 1 1/2 horse motor
to replace it the guy said around $ 350.00
my question is would a gas engine be able to run this elevator ??
looked at harbor Freight they have a engine side shaft
