I worked on a few Wiscosin engines over the years, but it was not until about ten years ago I realized there was and odd fire in the mix. It happened that a friend had purchased an old fork lift with a Wisc engine, and the guy he got it from threw in a couple old engines for spare parts. One was odd and one was even. Had me scratching my head for a while. I have Dodge Dakota v6 and it is an odd fire but not quite that odd. The original V6 engine Buick introduced was odd fire and they never did get it to run smooth. The Chrysler v6 has slight offset on connecting rod journals that does even out the firing so it is closer to even degrees between firing . This odd fire only happens in the 90 degree v 6 engines as the 60 degree ones are even fire.
