Thanks for comments. Now that you mention it, I had read about that roundup wheat flap. I agree, the farmer should have plowed it under ans said nothing. Wheat here is planted in the fall and would be ready to cut now, if it weren't for rainy weather. The guy I mentioned apperantly got away with the notilling part, just the Johnson grass came up with the warm weather. I guess he could struggle and take the wheat off and plant RR soybeans and get some control over the Johnson grass.
Tresspass laws? My post said I stopped at the edge of the field. I didn't even get off the highway right of way, not that that matters. The neighbor wouldn't care. A very few years ago he was recovering from a glaucoma operation and his cows kept getting out. I helped him run about 1/2 mile of electric fence to keep his cows in, so I doubt if he would have any objections to me stopping on th eroad.
