In the mid 50's Dad had them in a 30 acre milo field. Had them sprayed with a plane. Wrong Spray and buy the next day they had the milo gone, and going across the road. The pilot landed on the road, and got out and said lets see these worms. Look down at your feet. HOLY SH@. I would guess we had 30 per foot. Never had them again.
