Well summer arrived in Great Britain last week and the silage and hay making got going full bore here in Northern Ireland....About 2-3 weeks late but crops and the excellent weather have made up for that. The roads were full of tractors hauling grass back to the silage clamps every where. Many contractors/custom workers were reporting outputs of approaching 1000 acres through the harvester this week. the outfit in my pictures had 1000 acres done yesterday at lunchtime, but it did do a couple of all-nighters! Not bad in fields averaging 3.5 acres! Sam
