I got lucky and planted beans Sunday afternoon and yesterday got almost 1/2 done. Got 3/4" this morning. My beans planted May 23rd look like heck, poor stand, what's up looks like it's got either herbicide problems or my feeling that it's just too cold. The ground got really hard after they were planted so I'm hoping this rain will help. Otherwise when I get the rest of the beans planted the first time I'll decide whether to replant them. The corn here looks great albeit small for June 4th, but good stand nice color and thanks to our hills no ponding, everything runs off.
