I'm in eastern SD and those prices ($200-$250) are common here for an entire season. Most pastures are rented by the acre but that's the number we strive for per pair per season. A lot of grass here will support 1 pair per 2-3 acres which is fine but then you get a landlord who thinks his 6-7 acres per pair is worth the same money and it's frustrating.
