I am in the process of spliting the remaining land Mom willed to my brother and myself. It is almost 4.0 acres. Dad sold the rest of it off when he was still living. It is a shame what I need to do just to seperate the land. One of the things that needs to be done is a neighborhood meeting to show the neighbors what I am doing with our land. As far as I am concearned it is none of their business what I do as long as it is legal, and permitted by the city. Nothing will change around the buildings where I keep my tractors. I will end up with two 1/2 acre lots, and a 1 acre piece. My brother will end up with about the same. I need to sell one of the two lots just to pay 350,000 or more for all the bs I need to do for the city. The sad part is when Dad was living he could have gone to the county, before the city, and got everything split into 1/2 acre lots for little or nothing. My rant for the day. Stan
