I got a 2011 F-150 Super Crew Lariat, 5.0 V8, 3.5x diff, factory trailer brakes built in, back up camera with zoom looks right at the trailer ball makes hoop up easy, pulled my 16-foot utility tandem trailer with 8 bales of 3X3X8 hay at 960 lbs each. With the tow mode on the 6-speed pulled like a dream, the factory brake controller makes stopping just like no trailer on, totally different than all the add-on controllers I have had over the years.
