I have a 2011 Super Crew cab with the 5.0 engine and 39,000 miles. Fuel mileage has been as high as 21 mpg running empty which is most of the time. I have been on a few trips with it fully loaded and still got good mpg considering the conditions. I have taken it on several trips fully loaded, some with a loaded trailer, and it handled the load just fine.
My previous pickup was a 2008 with the 5.4 engine and the current pickup is a better pickup with more power and gets better gas mileage.
So the question is, would I buy another one? Yup, sure would.
