Cold and very late here in Northern Ireland....some spring barley still to go in. 3 farmers beside me lifted mediocre crops of silage grass yesterday and today it is raining again. The North wind just keeps on blowing! Our wind normally comes from the mild south-west. Grazing is scarce, especailly if any one had sheep out wintered, them things are better than any lawn mower!. Just heard last night that silage is being imported from England and France @�45/tonne. Sam
