Dont feel bad, if it hasnt moved in 8 years you dont need it. I dont let things sit for too long.
The way I look at it, the money you spent 8 years ago, could have been working for you in other ways, whether additional equipment for your business, tools, etc. Instead you spent money, then when you sold the trailer, you finally got your ROI.
Unfortunately, I do get rid of things a little too soon. But, I cannot stand clutter. So am guilty just the opposite way. I will not buy anything for the farm unless I have already put together the business need with $$ amounts first.
