there are guys with more knowledge down on the jd forum but I would start out by isolating the problem to fuel or spark.
when this happens check to see if you have a strong blue spark at each cyl if you don't I would rework the whole ignition system with quality parts. if you have good spark then start looking at your fuel system. My JD2010 gas requires carb adjustment as the seasons change to run right.
