ISO is international standards organization, the ISO number is different than the SAE number, you see the ISO numbers used on a lot of industrial oils. IIRC you're right about 100 being 30 weight, we had some older equipment (shaker screens) that required 30 weight non-detergent, didn't want to stock a barrel for just those few machines, our industrial oil dealer crossed it over to 100, we had that in bulk.
